On Jan. 27, the trees fronting 4420 Brown Road were completely removed





This latest view of the meeting hall shows the installation of glass panels on the NW section, due to be completed this week.

Trees fronting our second property have been cleared. The lot will be graded with sand and gravel for future use

● Meeting hall construction update as of January 18, 2012


1. The City has approved the removal of trees fronting 4420 Brown Road. 
2. The curtain wall (glass panels) on the front lobby began last week and will be completed by the end of January. 
3. Work on the elevator will also start this week.
4. Detailed work on the interior walls and floors, and hardware for doors are now being prepared. 
5. We have decided on a ready-made tub for the baptistery.

● Meeting Hall Construction Update as of January 06, 2012

  1. The electrical contractor is now installing wiring and conduits for all electrical connections: sound and video, internet, security, and appliances.

  2. The mechanical contractor is still installing plumbing and washrooms, shower rooms, and baptismal tub.

  3. The City has approved our application for tree removal on the frontage of 4420 Brown Road.

  4. Another progress billing in the amount of $336,000 is due on January 15.

  5. May we continue steadfastly in prayer for the sufficient financial supply to meet all the construction needs.


The roof-top air-conditioning unit (RTU) will be mounted
after the duct work under the metal decking is finished


The ducting materials for ventilation are now 
ready to be installed

● Meeting Hall Construction Update as of December 23, 2011

  1. The second floor concrete slab has been completed.

  2. The roofing is almost complete. Flashing along the parapet walls and around the roof-top air-conditioning units will be done later.

  3. The window glass panes are now being installed.

  4. Steel studs are being installed on the walls of the main meeting area. The drywall will be attached to these studs later.

  5. The construction committee had a meeting on Dec. 22 to finalize the audio design plan. A meeting with the electrical contractor is planned for the first week of January 2012.
