● Hallelujah! the meeting hall passed the final building inspection on July 6, 2012!

The City inspector came this afternoon(July 6) at around 2:00 p.m. and checked all the work done to correct the deficiencies noted in his previous visit on June 15.
He was satisfied with the work performed and signed the papers with "FINAL BLDG PASSED".

Praise the Lord! We can now make full use of our meeting hall and conduct meetings, training, classes, etc. according to our needs and goals.

Other matters that were done today:

1. The electrical contractor and fire protection contractor came this morning at around 8 a.m. and briefed us on the installed electrical and fire sprinkler systems.

2. The appraiser from BC Assessment came this morning at 10 a.m. for an assessment of the building usage. She gave us 100% exemption on all floor areas, not just the main sanctuary.

The next step is for us to apply at the City of Richmond for exemption, which will be effective in 2013.

We should now get into high gear in preparation for the training on August 2-5, 2012.

At this critical stage of setting up the service teams, we pray that we will all honor and treasure one another for the benefit of the Body.

May we all speak kindly to one another, love and cherish one another, and take the Lord as our pattern.

May we cultivate positive, life-dispensing values:

Compassion to all, composure in the face of trouble
Humility in what we can do, honor to those who excel
Restraint in speech and action, resiliency in the face of pressure
Interest in others, imparting life, light, and love to others
Stability in the face of uncertainty, standing for the will of God
Truthfulness in action; taking Christ as the center, direction, and goal
