lamps, relocating the electric poles to be done by BC Hydro, realigning the gas main to be done by FortisBC, and the final asphalt paving
(to be done next year at the end of construction).
2. The City Parks department personnel inspected the site on October 14 to decide on the cutting of trees standing on city property.
3. The second set of more than 20 wall panels are in preparation and pouring of concrete will be done this week. The work progress is two
to three weeks ahead of schedule because of good weather. The wall panels will be erected after curing in a few days. By the fourth week
of October, structural steel will begin to be installed for the second floor and the roof frame.
4. Last week, we paid out $248,000 to the general contractor and $132,000 to the offsite works contractor.
5. Praise the Lord for His faithfulness in providing us with the right weather for the work to proceed uninterruptedly and sufficient supply to pay the progress billings as they become due each time.
The church construction committee met with the architect and the general contractor's key personnel on October 12, 2011 to discuss the latest work progress and construction schedule update. Photo shows the project team standing on the first set of concrete wall panels, over which a second set of about 20 panels will be cast in a week's time.
