Concrete Delivery and Wall Panels
Wall panels in the making, video taken on October 7, 2011.
The finished wall panels, lying under a clear sky, will cure over the Thanksgiving long weekend, and will be ready for another set of panels to be formed on top of them. After all the wall panels have set and attained proper strength, they will be tilted up and installed upright on the foundations.
Status Update
- As of October 7, the first set of concrete wall panels has been cast. The good weather on Friday helps with the curing process over the Thanksgiving long weekend.
- The next sets of panels will be done during the following 3 weeks. By the end of October, the wall panels will be ready for lifting upright to complete the walls of the building.
- A site meeting is scheduled on Wednesday, October 12, with the architect and contractors to review the accomplished work and current progress of the construction. This week, sizable amounts have to be paid to the general contractor and to the road-works contractor.
- The letter of credit held by the City of Richmond will be reduced by an amount corresponding to the sewer and road works accomplished and approved.
- Praise the Lord for His sufficient supply. May we continue to pray for the timely offerings to meet the needs of the construction.
